However, instead of the discs you find in our Campaign Diary, the Far Traveler’s Notebook features traditional traveler-style elastic binding, and the booklets are configured to best take advantage of the change.

Crafted in the traditional style of the ever-popular Traveler’s Notebook, these customizable, stackable, and swappable booklets easily slip into and out of the cover’s elastic bands when you want to make a change (and hold fast when you don’t).

The standard kit includes 4 insert booklets, though the elastic bindings and wraparound leather cover make it easy to add and accommodate additional booklets, inserts, and accessories.

Leather and wood are natural materials, and each piece we make has a certain amount of character and variance to it.  The most Pristine pieces that we make are still being shipped to our preorder customers, and we won’t be accepting new orders for them for quite some time yet.

However, every so often we end up with items that are Nearly Perfect, but perhaps the contrast of the engraving against the leather isn’t quite strong enough for our tastes, or perhaps there was a band in the wood that was a bit more dense and didn’t engrave as deeply as we would have liked.

On occasion, we have a more glaring defect, such as a mark, discoloration, or tear in the leather, or sometimes the engraver hiccups, causing the engraved design to skip, skew, or stop altogether.  While the engraved design may look truly Cursed, the item itself is still perfectly useful.
