Effective 1 October 2022, The Rook & The Raven is undergoing a transition and is unable to accept returns or provide refunds of any kind.  A new returns and refunds policy will be posted once the transition has been completed.

Return Policy

If an item arrives defective, or damaged in transit, we will happily exchange the item for you. Items that are not damaged or defective may be returned for any reason within 30 days of being marked as delivered (or for items without a tracking number, within 45 days of the date the order was marked as shipped in our system).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We do not give returns for any virtual or downloadable products.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  • Any item with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition (e.g. damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error)
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery (or 45 days after being marked as shipped)

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will contact you via email to notify you of the receipt of your return and to provide you with the status of your refund.

Refunds will issued as store credit, and the amount will be immediately available in the form of a gift card code.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.  Discounts, sales, and promotions may reduce the amount of your refund.

At RavenRook Publishing LLC’s sole discretion, a full or partial refund may be issued to the original payment method, in addition to, or instead of, a store credit.

Gifts

If you wish to return an item that was shipped directly to you as a gift, please contact us via the CONTACT form on our website.

Once the item has been received, you will receive a store credit for the amount of the original purchase price (less discounts) or the current retail price (as shown on the website), whichever is lower.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept the return or exchange of any item that was not shipped to you directly. In such a case, the original purchaser will need to initiate the return or exchange.

Return Shipping

When you make your return request, you may either ship the returned item back to us via the carrier of your choice, or you may request that we provide a return shipping label. 

You will be responsible for any shipping costs to return your item.  If you request a return label, the shipping costs may reduce the amount of refund you receive.  If you are performing an exchange, you will also be responsible for any new shipping charges for the new item.

If your item arrived damaged or defective, these shipping costs will be waived and, if applicable, a return label will be provided..

If you do not request a return label from us, we recommend using a traceable shipping service, purchasing shipping insurance, or both. You will be responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit back to us.
