You wouldn’t think to look at it, but the diary pictured here is a Book of Blarg, which means it didn’t pass our QA inspection (we wanted to call these Misfits of Misadventure, but we thought that might be too confusing)
Rather than simply chucking the Blarg Books in the recycling bin, we’ve decided to try something a little different…
When you order a Book of Blarg Blind Box, you’ll receive a FRANKENBOOK, built from flawed (but still perfectly usable) components. Your box will contain a Diary or Planner (your choice). The cover could feature any past or current design (even Kickstarter exclusives and discontinued colors), and the inner covers may or may not match the outer cover (or even each other).

Description
Because every trim, every cut, every punch, and every press is done by hand, our process is a little more error-prone than a mass-produced book. Additionally, we hold ourselves and our products to a very high standard, so while we find little imperfections to be charming, outright flaws are definitely not.
In our shop, flaws come in a number of flavors, but the most common ones are:
- Pages that stick out a little above or below the rest of the book
- One or more of the cover pieces are either a shade too large or a shade too small
- Ink smudges or misprints on the covers
However, as you’ll notice, all of these flaws are purely cosmetic. The components themselves are perfectly usable and since you can add and remove pages and covers, the flawed components can even eventually be replaced.
